The first of the unique cave hotels to be opened is the Esbelli Evi Inn, located in Urgup, Turkey. What is phenomenal about the Esbelli Evi Inn is it combines the traditional Cappadocia lifestyle with all of the basic modern day conveniences such as electricity and even high-speed internet accessibility. The rooms also have running water and air conditioning, even though the temperature inside of a cave is usually quite cool to begin with.
Another of the unique cave hotels in Turkey is the Kelebek Boutique Hotel, actually known as the Kelebek Cave Pension where it housed travelers years before. Despite having all the modern necessities for modern day travelers, all of the furniture is handmade and the rooms were actually constructed using stones from old homes built into the caves. One of the major perks to the Cuevas Pedro Antonio de Alarcón is its view of the city of Guadix and the Sierra Nevada behind it.
